The Brennan-Lucey Irish Dance Academy is an Irish Dancing School that teaches classes in Connecticut, USA. Locations are in Fairfield in Fairfield County, CT and in Milford and Hamden in New Haven County, CT. Each Irish Dance class is taught under the instruction of Riverdance champion dancers and registered and certified TCRGs with CLRG Stephen Brennan and Meghan Lucey. Our teachers include a World Champion and National Champion and are proud to be the Principal Dancer and Dance Captain of Riverdance as well as performing in Lord of the Dance. The Dance Academy pulls students from Westport, Stratfrord, Southport, Wilton, Easton, Weston, Trumbull, Redding, Newtown, Seymour, Hamden, Orange, Fairfield, Bridgeport, Black Rock, Devon, Milford, Shelton, Ansonia, Woodbridge, Bethany, New Haven, West Haven, North Haven, East Haven, Wallingford, Cheshire, Meridon, Derby and Middlefield in Middlesex County.
Applying the Patch
Find out how to apply the patch to your Brennan-Lucey performance skirt or button down shirt here!

Once you have received your patch you'll need to stitch the patch to your performance skirt or shirt!
Use black thread to tack the patch carefully to the skirt.
To make sure the patch is in the correct place, use the diagrams below to help you!

Performance Skirt 1

Step 1
Measure half an inch in from the fold on the left hand side of the right hand pleat. Align this measurement with the left side of the patch and refer to the diagram below. ​
Step 2
Measure one inch from the bottom of the right hand pleat. Align this measurement with the bottom of the patch and refer to the diagram below.
Black Button Down Shirt

To apply the patch to a black button down dress shirt please follow the instructions in the following chart.. ​

Pinning the Cape
Once you have received your cape you'll need to know how to pin it to your performance outfit!
Don't worry, no more sewing! You can use safety pins to attach the top of the white to the left shoulder of the leotard and the top fold up of the teal to the skirt on waistband on the right. Please refer to the picture below of the lovely Katie in her completed performance outfit for a guideline!
